The company places a priority on sales, sales support expertise and sales performance with nominal value being placed on service delivery quality for clients. The micro management and front line supervision focus that senior personnel recruited for Leadership Partner positions receive from Gartner is at times demeaning and demoralizing. If you are a senior executive who values your career accomplishments, expertise and experiences gained through a successful career in either consulting, advisory services and / or IT operations management you should reconsider taking a position with Gartner. Your priority will be sales or sales support, not service delivery quality.
