The quality of management varies from superb to incompetent. This used to be a fun and rewarding place to work. But during the past two years, there has been a steep decline in collegiality among employees. Management now encourages adversarial relations among team members. The overall atmosphere has become toxic. "Employee morale" has disappeared from the dictionary. Common sense has left the building. Rather, there is a slavish adherence to obscure metrics. Managements scouts out every opportunity to denigrate individual performance. Expectations change weekly. Widespread layoffs of senior staff. Management pretends they have no visibility.
