Many in management are there due to political ambition and not the ability to lead or execute objectives. Politics drives the company culture, which is primarily focused on reducing expenses to generate revenue. The company had a culture of experts that drove growth and market recognition. Even if you do succeed and blow your targets out of the water, it doesn't mean you are rewarded. There have been several "quiet" layoffs across various groups, which have led to morale issues. Compared to industry competitors, salaries and compensation are lower. Training and investment in employees are left to the discretion of the employees.
