HubSpot is really leaning out its marketing department. If you like doing the job of three people — and get invigorated by the occasional layoff — I encourage your to apply.
But seriously, though. What is going on? The CEO said no more layoffs in December and here we are, a few months later, with another silent layoff. And while there's no "right" way to do a layoff, they're very callous in how they do it. Out of respect for my colleagues, I will leave it at that.
All that aside, you'll notice a common theme in all these reviews, and it's that your experience at HubSpot is largely dependent on your manager. Unfortunately, many people in management positions at HubSpot are not qualified.
Another big call out if career growth. In my experience, you will get saddled with more and more work but your title and compensation will not budge. This is not a place to grow.
