Low salary for experienced developers / experienced software engineers - AVOID this company if you're looking for a higher salary. In comparison to others they have the lowest or in the IT industry , NOT COMPETITIVE. You have to stay in the company for more than 3 years in order to be considered for a promotion (in rare cases 2 years). In most cases this renders the annual performance review of the employee into nothing. Quoting on the HR on my exit interview , "Just because you have many excellent ratings on your performance and excelled in leadership. It does not reflect a promotion". Please note I'm saying promotion and not progression. This is different in terms of Indra's ladder. Progression is actually very easy vs the promotion. Progression is like this. Junior Software Engineer - Level 1 becoming Junior Software Engineer - Level 2 Promotion is like this. Junior Software Engineer becoming Mid Level Software Engineer. There is an increase of salary in promotion. In progression , don't expect too much. Underappreciated , Project managers most of the time do not care to those under them. Only the team leads do. Possible slow career growth - depending on where you're assigned you may end up at a high growth team or a stagnant one.
