Jacobs has more of a team atmosphere while holding true to a loose traditional hierarchy common to the engineering field. Input is always welcome from everyone.

It's hard to stay the number one Engineering company. Everyone's gunning for you. Being one of the best engineering companies keeps the workload high in most areas; not really a downside. Being among the best means Jacobs is contracted by the best in each respective industry. Therefore, staying on your toes is imperative; again not really a downside.
