I have worked for marshall insurance for almost 4 years and it has changed my life! I have never made so much money in my life. Before Marshall insurance I made maybe $60k. Now I make well over $100K! You have to be driven, ambitious and tenacious. Jay the owner is awesome he gave me an opportunity. He will give you an opportunity but you have to make it happen. You decide on how much your check will be by your work ethic. Work hard ball harder.

The owner is the most self centered human who only brags about the amnt of money he makes and only speaks about himself the entire interview. You do all of the underwriting and paperwork before the sale and after the sale so for a sales person this is a huge learning curve due to having well over 50 carriers. Every single agent there still has been given the opportunity to have well over 6 months to learn it all , which it takes a good 3 months just to feel like you’re getting the hang of it. The owner is now only giving people 2 months to prove yourself which is a complete joke along with the manager always being tied up training new people. The owner manages out of fear and will treat you and speak to you in ways you never thought you’d experience at a work place . He is so beyond unprofessional it will blow your mind. He fired 3 people in 1 day and they were all newer people. He looks at you like a disposable piece of trash and will also treat you that way. One of the sales people that have been there for years said that the owner won’t even look at him while he is in the office bc he isn’t selling insane amnts- that’s the only way he will give you any attention. He’s like an immature child on so many levels. You will be shown paychecks from the top producers who have been there for years and who were given the chance and time to learn (which you won’t be given) so don’t bother even wasting your time and energy. Plus you will only make 19/hr until you are selling about 80k/month for atleast 3 months in a row to get out of the draw. Most polices are only around 1700$ and doing all of the underwriting takes forever especially when just learning - so good luck with that and you’ll bust your butt and get let go before u even get the chance to fully learn bc he no longer gives anyone enough time.
