Function with chronic sleep deprivation caused by extended hours, overnight responsibilities, and the inability to disconnect from work obligations. Operate under leadership characterized by intimidation, volatility, and authoritarian control, where communication is fear-based rather than collaborative, and where dissenting viewpoints or professional input are discouraged or penalized.
