Manager. I don't think he realizes his racial discrimination behavior. He only trusts and promotes people of his skin color. He is completely non-technical. Neither does he have any good people management skills. Not sure how he became a manager and able to hold onto that manager position. He cannot distinguish between good and bad work. Presentation skills take precedence over technical competencies in this team. His trusted aides/favs have HUGE advantage over others in terms of having access to data/information, choice of projects and blind faith from the manager. When the favs make a mistake this manager covers up for them and makes sure it doesn't go beyond the team and doesn't reach VP level. If someone dares to point out a mistake of these favorites this manager would be targeting those and make their life miserable. Favs exploit this discriminatory behavior to the max in terms of visibility at VP level, promotions, reviews, visibility, etc. unfortunately for higher management they don't see these as they are not exposed to these politics and they are not thermal experts either. This manager has built this group of three "experts" including himself and they back each other making sure power stays within them no matter what. High time this great company deserves a much better thermal manager in every way (technical/ppl management and NON DISCRIMINATORY)
