Great benefits including an ESPP program. During COVID the company has lead with employee safety in mind and I really respect that. There are also great opportunities to learn new things with access to a lot of educational resources. Time will tell if that helps translate to career advancement opportunities but I think if you're determined and dedicated enough, NVIDIA sees that and rewards it.

For being a cutting edge technology company, some of the other departments are just starting to catch up to the latest and greatest techniques and tools. I'm not sure how well having a flat organization works with a company this size. There is a lot of hype about experts being in charge, no matter who they are, but in my experience that has led to having a bunch of experts with opinions on everything resulting in delayed decisions. On the flip side, a lot of decisions that seem relatively basic have to go through executive approval which is somewhat mind boggling. How is that scalable? Are we really trusted with our work? We'll see if those practices change in any way now that the company is growing exponentially.
