Stringent, tight and demanding schedule. Minimum line requirement. I have been an MT for 37 years. My company recently merged with Nuance. Immediately they changed our compensation, unbeknownst to us, and I mean radical changes. I was making 10.5 cpl. They dropped us down to 8.25 cpl and said what we were missing would be repleted by incentive pay. I have a 99% accuracy rate. It turns out in order to be eligible for the incentive pay, you must have 99.5% to earn 10% of your quarterly earnings in a bonus check. This is done by audit of our accuracy , the report of which we never see. Just this week we were told they now have a minimum of 157 lines/hr or 1257 lines per 8-hour shift. I committed to my prior company for 1000 lines per day and consistently hit it. That is what fit my lifestyle and schedule. Nuance is not honoring that and forcing me to go over and beyond that to remain an employee. They took over in December. I have typed an entire quarter for them with 99% accuracy and have not been compensated a dime in incentive pay. I am down $400 to $500 in monthly compensation since the merger and am forced to look for other employment. Think twice before signing on with them.
