We have made and will continue to make significant progress on some of these issues. Nonetheless, everyone won't always agree with our approach to everything. As you'll know, we're not here to replicate employment practices from stale incumbents, we're here to build the future of energy, and with that the future of work.
Therefore on things like time off, it comes with a significant amount of freedom and trust.
Also, our operating model being as unique as it is, means that we never move away from the customer. This means that the business never loses sight of looking after the customer. This is not in conflict with focusing on colleagues strengths. Both can be achieved, and one thing I will take from your review is how we can better achieve that, and shine a light on what that success looks like.
Again, hoping you will reach out, but if not, I wish you well in your new role, and hope that your time with Octopus was one that helped your growth & development!
