Competitive pay that includes base + options. Really fun annual off-sites and team bonding opportunities (usually around the Fall). Great mission (mental health). Amazing co-workers.

After the new CTO joined - we had 2 lay offs in 1 year for no apparent reason. It was sad to see perfectly talented individuals just let go... Then they announced an RTO where all Bay Area folks are mandated to come into the SF Office (non-negotiable). Then they lost even MORE of their engineers (after the 2 layoffs) and announced that one of the engineering teams is allowed to stay "remote". The policies are constantly shifting. A lot of trust has been lost in leadership's ability to make decisions.

As any startup, the problems you solve are dynamic, challenging, and often urgent, the environment may not be for everyone. Not a place to rest and vest, though the work-life balance is better than many other similar-sized startups and the culture is friendly.
