You won't find another place doing the kind of work done at Monitor 360. The combination of high-level strategy problems for A-list clients (check the website--not all can be named), using the most current technology and methods (text analytics, content analysis, natural language processing, to name a few), and spanning the corporate, government, and foundation verticals just isn't happening anywhere else. Trust me, I've looked. When you add to that mix an incredibly talented, passionate, and super smart group of people with a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences (the other reviews are spot on in this respect), it makes for incredibly rewarding work. This can be a great opportunity if you're creative, entrepreneurial, enjoy both qualitative and quantitative work, and can pivot one minute from analyzing national security problems to corporate pricing problems the next. But it's not for everybody--most people are more comfortable working in only some of those areas. If that's you, Monitor 360 may not be the right fit. But if you do enjoy that diverse range of problems and have the skills to thrive in that environment, it's hard to imagine finding an opportunity like this elsewhere.

360 is a relatively small firm, so be prepared to pitch in where needed. This is not a typical 9-5. There will be the occasional long night (or early morning). And because it's a kind of hybrid between consulting and tech start-up, you need to be comfortable navigating that ambiguity. This is not a place where your responsibilities are going to be narrowly defined and you can expect to do only what's asked of you. Innovation and entrepreneurialism are the norm (and will be rewarded).
