I joined TDA straight out of school as a Business Administration Apprentice, and over the years I grew into the roles of Office Manager and eventually Operations Manager. Looking back, I realise just how much I learned, how much fun I had, and how deeply I value the years I spent there. What made it special wasn’t just the opportunities, it was the people. The co-founders and leaders are genuinely kind, approachable, and deeply committed. The CEO, especially, was consistently understanding and supportive of me. I always felt like I could be honest, ask questions, make mistakes, and still be treated with respect and encouragement. The culture is flexible, and trusting. You’re given independence to shape your role, make decisions, and grow quickly if you’re willing to put in the work.

The main challenge I noticed was around communication when people were unhappy. Some concerns weren’t shared openly until after someone had already left, which made it harder for the company to address things constructively. I’ve seen a few reviews that don’t reflect the reality I lived for eight years. The company was going through a very tough period ( as were many Recruitment agencies at the time), and those comments feel more like expressions of personal frustration than an accurate representation of the organisation or its leadership. This is just my perspective, but I think it’s an important one to share.
