You get to say you work at Tik Tok

Svantaggi

HELL on earth! No support, no guidance, criticized for asking questions and for help after receiving poor training, blame culture, no team comradery . I was asked to start at 7am am on my 2nd day and my personal life was non existent after that. I was spoken to appallingly from day one, accused of not being myself, given impossible deadlines and anihilated when unable to meet them, despite working day and night in my own time to try. Working 7 day weeks to try and keep up with the work, constant criticism, severe anxiety, I had repetitive strain injury and Carpal Tunnel from spending so many hours sitting at my desk. What a horrible environment, if you have a good experience there consider yourself very lucky. I consider my experience to be the equivalent to being throw out to sea and being made to swim back to land whilst a life boat hovers nearby, just out of arms reach splashing water over your head. My advice: as exciting as it may be, don't join this company and if you do, the minute you experience anything bad keep detailed records to cover yourself and work on getting the hell out.

Vantaggi

There are some truly fantastic and talented people in the company who make daily collaboration a great experience. Additionally, the insurance and overall health benefits package is quite strong and comprehensive.

Svantaggi

The work culture is heavily driven by top-down directives from HQ, leaving little room for open discussion, transparency, or questioning management decisions. The bi-yearly rating cycle feels highly punitive and is frequently used to target individuals rather than foster growth, leading to an environment where anyone can be abruptly let go. Work-life balance is virtually non-existent due to tedious, high-volume workloads and constant alignment with overseas timelines. Furthermore, leadership instability is a constant concern; local management changes rapidly, frequently replaced by leaders from the parent company, creating an unpredictable and highly volatile work environment.
