The team is very international, with lots of expert people in their field. I found some very nice colleagues.

Cut-throat environment with zero work-life balance. They will make you believe that they are very flexible and inclusive, reality is that your targets will be so many that not even 12 working hours in a day will be enough. You’ll always be reachable via the Lark chat, everyone will be over-stressed and people are let go with a crazy frequency.

Unexperienced mid management for such a global company. Unfortunately the italian tiktok office is well renowned for its poor on-floor managers, promoting nepotism leading to a toxic environment and extremely vertical organization.

Somewhat smart and hardworking colleagues. Good brand and ambitious environment. The early years of the company were engaging and dynamic.

The culture is highly unhealthy and extremely inefficient. Too much work is driven by optics, urgency, and internal chaos rather than real impact. A large share of the workload feels self created through poor planning, last minute requests, and constant rework. Speed is valued more than quality, which means teams are often forced to deliver fast and then redo the work later. Leadership does not feel open to real challenge, and upward feedback seems more performative than genuine.
