Really horrible experience overall - Recensione dipendente - Client Services presso TransPerfect

It’s been several years since I left this company and finally am in a place where I can write a clear review. The department I was in was like a frat house, complete with hazing. I felt constantly gaslit by my managers, put down, and belittled. Direct managers were truly unprofessional and maybe too young or inexperienced to have been promoted. I was passed up and given more weekend shifts than a newer employee who was an idiot, but who was friends with a managers younger sibling. I felt like the female manager I worked with was threatened by me and went out of her way to put me in uncomfortable positions with male colleagues. Finally, the office I worked in was not a comfortable atmosphere for a young attractive woman. Some coworkers were really nice and helpful but overall my experience was really negative. If you don’t fit the “fratboy/sorority” mold, be prepared to feel alienated.
