Vantaggi

Your direct coworkers will be your life line. The only thing that kept me from losing it was my direct coworkers. I used to love my job, but since 2023, I’m not sure what’s going on. I’ll be shocked if WWG is around in 2026.

Svantaggi

Incompetent upper management, good ole boys club, misogyny from upper management, hostile and unapproachable upper management, manager changes were frequent, 0 flexibility, leadership from Wurth North America was ran off due to horrible leadership within WWG, not off on Christmas Eve, pay cuts, I got one raise while there after months of begging, no room for growth unless you’re in the good ole boys club, bonuses revoked, commission structure changed for the worse, adders put on cost (which if you’re in sales, that’s what your commission is based off of) and management made sure to put in bold letters to not tell sales people in their email to purchasing because they knew that would mess with paychecks, high turnover for good reason, almost all good & well seasoned employees have left & the one’s still there are burnt out, changes made with almost no notice such as operating hours, 0 communication between any department, told to use your resources but there aren’t any, no training, I could keep going.

Vantaggi

They have a lot of on site employee amenities with a hybrid work model. Would recommend negotiating as much remote freedom as possible. Office keeps up the cool techy image and they have professional relationships with interesting product prospects.

Svantaggi

Hard to work with as management is not clear on what they want/need from their employees. Higher ups also have had a history of misogyny and discriminatory behaviour that HR may be trying to keep under wraps and manage the perspective that it never existed but if you get to talk with them more on a personal level, there are signs especially from the other men. Also seems that there is a lack of accountability where management don't talk with each other clearly and expect employees to be the middlemen. Either they figure it out or they are shut out from circles. There is also a superficial act of addressing issues because "startup culture" so they move fast. But just as friendly as they start out, they'll ice you out just as quickly. Somebody also passed away recently and the reaction from management was PC at best.
