Some very cool coworkers - I met some really lovely people, fun socials, snacks in the office. Most of the people team are lovely and really care about the wellbeing of employees. If you're lucky enough to have good middle management (like I did) you can learn a lot. Flexible working - I personally had a great work/life balance but this is not the case in every team.

Lack of transparency - people being fired almost on a weekly basis with no explanation to the rest of the team. You often find out someone has been let go on the day they leave and are expected just to carry on and ask no questions about why they have left. I watched extremely talented and successful team members be fired due to the personal politics of senior leadership. This creates a culture of fear around job security. Favouritism and somewhat out-of-touch culture: the sales team were taken on an all-expenses paid trip to Paris and senior team members are constantly being jetted (often unnecessarily) all over the globe, while other teams are told their wages are being frozen in a cost of living crisis. An unhealthy culture of overworking. - it's commonplace to work late evenings and weekends. There is a monthly CEO townhall but if the CEO doesn't want to answer a particular question he'll just ignore it. Generally not a lot of empathy from many in senior management roles.

Thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback. As we transition from start-up to scale-up, and in this difficult fiscal environment, like many other companies, we have had to make some adjustments with to our teams. It is not always possible to forewarn staff about departures, given sensitivities, nor is it possible to discuss the reasons for departures. It is true that we are ambitious and that many people work hard, but we are working with managers to ensure that the work culture is healthy, and that they can spot signs of burnout and poor mental health. As the company gets bigger, it is more difficult to answer individual questions in open forums, but we are looking at ways to be more transparent, to ensure that employees can get their questions answered, and give feedback.

Team is wicked smart, cares about each other, our amazing clients and success, great office culture and lots of cross functional support from other departments like marketing customer team etc.

Leadership is very involved so if that isnt for you sometimes its not the right fit.

People: largely decent folks who mean well and genuinely put their hearts into the work

Leadership exploits anyone with a strong work ethic and insists on having their fingerprints on everything. Strategy rarely extends beyond the next quick win, with long-term growth seemingly an afterthought. Salaries pegged to the 50th percentile. You're perpetually at or below what the market would otherwise offer. HR about as welcoming as a wet Tuesday in November.
