In 2023, Parexel’s team of around 22,000 employees sent 92,436 recognitions through our "Bravo!" recognition program. That’s about 4 recognitions per person! 🎉 One of the features of our “Bravo!” platform is the ability to align each recognition with a specific behavior that the colleague has demonstrated. This means we're not just saying "good job," we're acknowledging the values that drive our mission forward. The most awarded behaviors in 2023 were: 1. Collaboration 2. Efficiency 3. Empowerment & Accountability When we take the time to recognize and celebrate each other's dedication, it brings out the best in all of us.
"Many companies claim that it's important to put patients first. However, implementing it, making it part of everyday life, and reminding everybody of the importance of patient focus is something I haven't seen anywhere else. At Parexel it’s an ongoing topic ingrained in everybody's work." In this #TalentSpotlight, Doreen discusses the #PatientsFirst core value at Parexel and how she personally contributes to it in her role as a project leader ─ from improving patient materials to developing diversity plans. August 15th marked the beginning of Hispanic Heritage Month, a time to celebrate the rich culture, diverse heritage and important contributions of the Hispanic/Latin community around the world! 🎉 Our Hispanic/Latin colleagues at Parexel play a pivotal role in our organization's success. Colleagues like Nathalia Cruz ─ a Supply & Logistics Project Manager based in Boston ─ who plans to celebrate both Hispanic/Latin Heritage and Brazilian independence with loved ones this month. Nathalia shared with us why she is proud to be Latinx: "Being Latinx is a continual reminder of our heritage and the lessons learned from our colonial past. This happens by embracing our diversity, promoting inclusivity and spreading love. As Conceição Evaristo, a Brazilian writer, once said, 'O importante não é ser o primeiro ou primeira, o importante é abrir caminhos,” which can be translated as, “It is not important if you are the first, it is important to be the pioneer for new opportunities to everyone.'”
