I sent my resume in to a recruiter, they emailed me about a month later to set up a phone interview in two weeks. The two weeks went by and they called for the interview. This position wasn't what I was initially interested in, or where my main experience lies, but they didnt seem too interested in using me where I wanted to be used. Questions were pretty basic and I felt pretty positive about how everything went. I was told I would be contacted within the week for a followup interview. Never happened. I emailed at the end of the week only to be told the position had already been filled but they were considering me for another, completely different role. I would prefer to be informed of these things.
