Need to have a solid understanding of SQL. Expect questions with conditional statements, the use of CTEs, and window functions. Be familiar with how to design a data pipeline end to end. Don't need to be an expert on any specific tech stack but need to understand the aspects and tradeoffs to be considered when designing a data pipeline. Leadership principles questions are just as important as the technical portion so spend time practicing answer sample questions out loud.
