Was smooth. Had multiple rounds over 3 months and disappointed at the final rejection . Amazon leadership principles are mostly asked everywhere during the interview process and so be thorough with them.
If selected you will start with online assessment. If you pass that then you will be scheduled for a one on one interview. If you pass that you will have 4 back to back interviews. If you are green lighted for hire you should get an offer unless position no longer available.

Leadership Principles questions on Customer Obsession, Bias for Action and Ownership in the STAR method.
Someone told me not to bother they are very biased against black candidates. I tried anyway. So i tried to give it a go, I had 1 interview then followed by a series of 4x45mins interviews all in 1 day.
First interview (camera off): Interviewer was very impressed, considered me over qualified. And said alot of good things.
Second Interview (Camera off): Interviewer impressed ended it short and said he will pass good feedback about me.
Third Interview (Camera on): Interviewer asked tougher questions as expected, he asked me to elaborate and dive deep into my answers. Told me the position seems like its not for me (I was doing the same position for 8+ years).
4th Interview (Camera On): Interviewer seemed not interested or engaged. She replied kept the interview short and direct, ended the interview within 15mins. (30 mins early).
5th Interview (Reporting Manager)(Camera off): Highly engaged and showing great interest. Almost verbally hired me on the spot. Told me I should hear back within them very soon. Finished the last half of the call telling me what I will be doing day to day, and what to avoid doing.
Conclusion: Ive never really tried to blame my skin color on certain scenarios, but this time it seemed strategic. I have been warned by a close friend but instead of coming into the interview with a chip on my shoulder, I wanted to try out both with/without a camera. Sad to have such unprofessionalism within a fortune 100 organization. I have looked through the companies Linkedin employees within the region and majority of the employees seemed of south asian or caucasian descent.
