I was approached by a Amazon recruiter for a technical program manager at the Hayward, CA data center. I was encouraged to apply for the position, and filled out a questionnaire. I was sent an email from the Amazon recruiter indicating that I would receive a separate email to schedule a 45 minute phone screening. I waited 24 hours, and never received the phone screening interview email. I checked all my spam folders and no email was ever sent. I reached out to the Amazon recruiter, explained the situation, and asked if Amazon was still considering me for the position. The Amazon recruiter never responded back to me. The recruiter ghosted me and wasted my time. Don’t contact me and promise me a interview, if you don’t have any intentions to give me that interview and follow up.

Applied, Recruiter Screen then nothing. Not sure when I'll get a call back. The process seems super complicated. Will apply again now that I know what they are looking for.
