I was initially contacted by Seattle HR for an interview, and I was informed that the panel would include five other participants from the company. However, a few days later, I was told that the interview would only be conducted by the direct manager. During the interview, the manager spent about 13-15 minutes discussing the company and the position, and then asked me to provide an overview of my experiences. Additionally, I was asked two more specific questions. However, at the end of my response to the second question, the manager abruptly interrupted me and said something like, "OK, thank you, goodbye." The entire interview felt somewhat odd, especially since it lasted barely 30 minutes, even though it was scheduled for an hour. Given my experience with successful interviews at multinational companies around the world, this situation left me with the impression that HR might have been pushing my resume forward, while the manager had already had someone in mind for the position. That’s the feeling I got from the experience.

Complex and totally disrespectful recruitment process. Amazon begins mistreating their employees at the recruitment process. At the end, the reason they gave me for not hiring me is that I did not follow their interview guidelines, meaning, I was supposed to have answered exactly on a certain format/box instead of being a free thinker.

The interview consisted of a test where question were related to aptitude which ranges - easy to medium, then a video interview was there where the POC asked general questions which were a bit of like a hr round
