I was not actively looking to purse a role with another company. However, a friend put me in touch with Amazon recruiter through a friend. Submitted resume and cover letter to Amazon recruiter. 5 days later amazon recruiter reached out to me with an interview opportunity. 5 days later i went through a 40 minute phone interview. Interviewer was very welcoming. 3 behavior based questions and "Process Flow" question. Interview went very well.

Basic behavior based questions. Math process flow question caught me off guard but not difficult. Passed phone interview. Declined in person interview because of internal promotion.

Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.

Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.

Conflict between coworkers, how would you approach resolving?
All virtual. STAR interview questions (situation task action result). Think of examples of tough situations you had to deal with. I think I had 2 or 3 interviews before I got an offer. Pretty smooth process overall.
