Amazon Robotics uses situational behavioral interviewing. Each interviewer is assigned a topic area and asks questions from your past experience on how to you accomplished or handled that area. How you answer and what they hear is how they predict how you will work in that environment. Each interviewer enters their opinions in Amazon's ((in)famous review system then they get together with the hiring manager.
The highlight of the interview going into a test area and see their robots in action. The robots are used in amazon's fulfillment centers to bring bins over to a picker to grab an item for a customer's order. Very cool.

Interview process was long. Pretty much whole day. They should not waste time if they are not interested.
Different people showed up at different time and was a bit chaotic.

Fast overall process, an initial screen then four or five rounds in one day. Hiring manager and other interviewers liked me. Overall most of the people were nice but the bar raiser was not and spoiled the opportunity.

Watch for the bar raiser, basically a rude person who you need to kiss up to.
It was long and very detailed and good experience. First as phone interview and then followed by video interview. I believe it was 4 or 5 people on video. One hour with each interviewer
