It was a group interview conducted 50% in English / 50% in French (we switched language after 15 minutes). We were given a booklet that described the case and which included several pages of data. We had to evaluating a research study / pilot project whose data was provided to us and make a recommendation. We split the task into two or three groups and each worked on one aspect. We were also expected to debrief about all the team results in the second part of the interview which was individual. As someone with a technical background, I was disappointed that the case did not allow me to share much of my experience and seemed to be designed with MBA applicants mostly in mind that would be more practiced with these types of business analyses. Even though I had looked at the case prep tools on the Deloitte website, the examples online were overly simplified and did not accurately suggest the amount of data we would need to digest to solve the case in the time allotted. An example of an actual written case might have been more helpful. The second part of the interview was individual with two consultants and much more standard personality fit and resumé review questions.
