The process seemed smooth before going for it. However, they called around 250-300 candidates for a single day interview for various domains. Interviewers were called for 10:30 slot. And the first round of mine happened somewhere around 1. There were a lot of hustle and bustle all around. Panels were not available. There were two rounds. The first round was petty good and they mostly focussed on the value which you bring to the table. A senior consultant and another person was interviewing and they were sure about what they were looking in the candidate. Mostly revolved around functional questions based on business analysis concepts, consulting methodologies , use of salesforce and agile working methodoligies. A very good feedback was provided and informed you will have a second round of interview which will mostly be behavioral. Apart from the operational failure of deloitte in conducting the interview everything was pity ok till this point of time. However, the second round was a complete mismatch of what was expected. The interviewer was most of the times busy with some calls and other disturbances and put the interview on pause 2-3 times. Common a person has come for an interview , one should respect the time of the interviewee as well. Its not that if you are at the interviewer end then you have some special status. Apart from that the person was critic in his approach and wanted to listen a particular answer for anything and was not engaging in any discussion. He asked you something and then started looking at the screen as if he is not interested and if you answer as well he will neither acknowledge an acceptance or denial. I have seen several stress interviews as well. However, this was a more sort of a disinterest. For example he wanted to know the benefits of salesforce and after telling everything he said it sounds like a sales pitch. Common, a consultant speak in consulting terms and language itself.

The recruiter contacted me for an initial screening. She then scheduled a phone interview with a "Manager". Once the manager gave the positive feedback she scheduled 3 back-to-back interviews. One was a Case interview and the other two were skill review, culture fit, etc.
