Round 1 – HR Interview – Have to be prepared for the Standard HR Interview Questions – Strengths, Weaknesses, Education Background, Articleship Background, What do you know about Deloitte India and Globally (Turnover, Founder, HeadQuarter, Locations, Functions), Why Transaction Services.
Round 2 – Technical Round – Lot of practical questions on Articleship Experience. Inventory Valuation, Consolidation, Impairment, Intangibles. Very important to go through all the important AS’s.
Have a basic overview of the Revised Schedule VI
If your CV mentions anything about US GAAP or IFRS related work, be ready for questions on that
What according to you is Due Diligence
They generally don’t ask questions relating to Tax Laws. (Deferred Tax is important)
Round 3 – Case Study – A live Case Study will be given which we have to read and then present after the stipulated Reading period. General Diligence understanding is tested.
Round 4 – Partner Interview – Lots of questions on Articleship experience. No technical questions.

The interview process was well-structured and took around 2 weeks. It consisted of three rounds: an initial HR screening, followed by a technical interview with the hiring manager, and a final interview with senior management.
The questions were a mix of technical and behavioral, focusing on past experience, problem-solving, and handling real-life work scenarios.
Overall difficulty was moderate. Candidates are advised to prepare practical examples and have a good understanding of the role.

The interview happened in 3 rounds, 2 technical and 1 techno manegerial. Technical round had back to back Technical questions with second round more focused on scenario based questions. Managerial was just 20 minutes
