Met recruiters through campus networking events; talked to those recruiters at the career fair the following day and proceeded on with their first round of interviews. The first round is a prerecorded video interview and although it feels unnatural to talk to a camera and screen, they look for people for can get past that and want you to talk directly like you would a real interviewer. Was asked to come down to the company office in my local area a week after.
Company interview was very straightforward- held in a reception area, moved into interviews with two people: a senior manager and partner. Senior manager was not as tough but very much felt like a good cop - bad cop scenario. Partner did not care about any of my prior accomplishments and drilled me on a bunch of technical questions relating emerging technologies in RPA and Blockchain. Very negative experience and came out feeling like I was not worthy to be in that field.
Rest of the day was nice. After interview, took us around and talked to us about the benefits offered at EY and showed us around the office. After, took us to Fogo De Chao and we got to relax and talk to some of the more recent hires.
Overall experience would be a 6/10. They are looking for a very specific type of candidate and if you couldn't answer one of their questions, you were essentially off the table.
