Professional but tough as they don't give you an idea exactly what they are looking for. The TA interviewer was very green. Did not do enough research and prep on my resume before the interview.

4 interviews, some of them useless and a play role managed by HR (not a sales person) with no experience. All the process was interacting with HR with the same interviews.

It was one of the best interview experiences of my life. I had an interview that lasted an hour, it had different sections. I had to talk about my previous exp, my motivations (why sales, why gartner), it all also had to be presented in a sertaint way eg Star method ets.
I had to give life examples of situarions, how i reacted to them and why.
the last part was a play-call with a client, i had to study the case for 5mins, and then conduct a call, selling Gartner`s services.
The feedback was given along the way.

Why Gartner & Why Sales (use Power of 3)
Gartner traits (Use a STAR method): here we would like to assess the traits by asking you about specific situations/examples relevant to your sales experience. Tips: Think about powerful examples/ Simplify the info (conciseness) / Sell yourself (share numbers, deals, wins, awards, recognitions, etc).

I encourage you to evaluate your previous experience, especially the ones related to Sales- think about notable moments.
I strongly encourage you to review Gartner as a company and have a good understanding of our business and values prior to this interview (see all documents)
Think about why this role interests you, and why Gartner as an employer appeal to you.
It would be beneficial to structure your answers for the competency-based questions using the STAR technique (Situation, Task, Action, Result) and Power of 3 (3 main reasons/keywords which can summarize your motivations and reasons to apply for a Sales role at Gartner). Also, avoid storytelling and show us more process-oriented answers.
Be you, be genuine. Avoid filler words, general or vague answers and show us your most personal side.
Roleplay: We will also have a 10-minute Sales roleplay to test your listening/questioning skills, and how you uncover information (find scenario attached).
