Interview process was the most professional and thorough I've ever known - and I have 4 years executive recruitment experience! First phone screening set the tone for professionalism and was the first contact for the following 6 (intense) interviews - 1 phone interview with recruiter and 5 face-to-face. They are looking for seriously talented sales people. Make no mistake, this organization has a great offering and they want the best in the business to get out there and sell for them. I learned an incredible amount - about the company and about myself. My final interview comprised of me presenting why I should be hired, as well as why I would want to work for Gartner. This exercise made me really ensure my values and the company's were aligned. In addition to focusing on what was most important to me in my next career move. I'm a seasoned IT salesperson and I have interviewed with the largest SI's and telcos, and can hand on heart say that Gartner leaves them for dust in qualifying top talent. I chose Gartner over other offers, because I believe they have the best structure, leadership and training - all to assist in bringing me to the next level in my career.
