      Candidatura

Ho presentato la mia candidatura tramite un selezionatore. La procedura ha richiesto 5 giorni. Ho sostenuto un colloquio presso Gartner nel mese di gen 2018

      Colloquio

I was contacted by a recruiter who found my profile on LinkedIn. After a brief e-mail exchange, we had a pleasant, informational phone interview. She then scheduled me for a second phone interview with a different recruiter. The interview went very well and the second recruiter advised that she would like to have me speak with a "Director" and that she would be back in touch with me within the next couple of days, if not sooner. That never actually came to fruition, even after I sent a follow-up e-mail to make sure that I was not somehow lost in the shuffle of candidates somewhere. It was very disappointing, but based on some of the other reviews on Glassdoor, it sounds like this lack of attention to detail and lack of consideration for candidates is fairly common and that the Gartner interview experience often resembles more of a hazing process than an actual professional interview that one would expect from such a well-established organization. The recruiter made it clear that they definitely were looking for experienced, top-performing sales reps who win awards, exceed quotas, etc. However, the variable that seems to be missing from the Gartner interview equation is integrity. Top performing, highly experienced sales reps will not put up with being treated poorly, because they don't have to. When one is professionally accomplished in tech sales, it's not a question of IF you get another job, it's simply WHEN. My advice is to proceed with caution when it comes to Gartner. My sales intuition tells me that all is not as it seems with this company when it comes to how they treat their employees, especially when their interview process is so inconsiderate and disconnected.
