I applied online in summer 2019, received communication from HR to set up call for first round . That was mostly introduction, overview of position/team etc. The interest was mutual and we scheduled call for next round which was going to be a technical screen. On the day of technical screen, just minutes before scheduled time I got an automated email saying I have not been selected for position I applied. I reach out to HR and she said they are moving in different direction now. This happened like in 3 business days from our first conversation. Didn't see that coming this fast and that too from automated email system .

Just to give a brief background , I was already a contractor for a different team for GoDaddy and my manager referred me for this position. Let me be very straightforward that GoDaddy teams doesn't care about the referral at all . Honestly if you don't satisfy even one of your interview you are screwed. Hate that . They are more like a process kinda stuff . Nobody will listen to you if you are stuck in one of your technical interview where someone asked you SQL query and you are stuck at one of the stuff . For them , that is the negative point and you will expect a reject no matter if you pass all your other interivews or in my case even worked for them and did great stuff out there at GoDaddy. To give a detailed background, I was interviewed by this Indian guy who did not have this live video configured properly and then he was asking me to tell him the query and he was attempting to write rather than I write it on a code share. He was dumb literally and that blew me off because he was following what I told him . Ofcourse that irked me because I can write it and if I fail i correct it but then this guy was all confusing me a lot. I know his name but don't want to publicly announce it but I am super annoyed by the way he handled it and I know he is the only reason that I didn't get the job. I challenge him to come again and interview me because the way he interviewed me was totally unethical . I respected GoDaddy as a company because I worked as a contractor but the team is about to doom for sure if he is there. Beware if you are applying to this company , the policy is that if anyone of your interviewer doesn't like you , you are definitely getting a reject. What the foolish policy. Not even our voting process goes like that and in this company believes in that process. Best of luck to whoever applies to this company. Also Also , they don't even negotiate your salary. hahahaha. I came to know from my sources at GoDaddy and I was like I am glad that I didn't clear the interview. They were straight in the salary for 85-90K . I am glad that my current company pays similar to that but if honestly if you are not offering me more than that why would I join you ? Also stupid policy of filing green card after 1 year ? Go and look at big companies they don't wait for 1 year to file your GC rather they do it instantly .
