During the onsite I really felt welcomed and respected. All interviewers were super thoughtful, even when it came to the small things like asking me if I needed water or a bathroom break before we got started. Most importantly, I really got a sense of Thumbtack's wonderful culture throughout all my interviews. At the end of the onsite I received lovely gift. Upon receiving an offer and accepting, I additionally received a lovely gift box. Having worked in recruiting before and after interviewing at many other places this time around, I have to say that Thumbtack has the BEST candidate experience. The experience was so seamless and genuine. <3

Was contacted by email to setup a phone interview then had a 30 minute phone interview followed by an assignment. The phone interview was pretty standard, comprised of nothing out of the ordinary. What was disappointing was the assignment. They asked me to draft 2 email responses as well as a template for an interview confirmation. I spent hours on the assignment and received an automated response saying they decided to move forward with someone else. They did not provide any feedback and it seemed a little lazy and I considerate to have me complete such an intense assignment and not even provide feedback.

My interview process was amazing! Super speedy and thorough. I never felt like I was jumping through needless hoops, but I also felt that I was thoroughly vetted for fit with the role and the company overall. The process gave me confidence that everyone hired before me, and everyone hired after me, would probably be a great addition to the team. So happy that the overall cultural component, in combination with vetting my specific skill set, was such a huge part of the interview process. My process also moved quickly and seemlessly, never felt like I had to chase down my recruiter or my hiring manager/interviewers for next steps or more info. Offer process was also super straight-forward.
