I was first interviewed by phone, was told I was a great fit for the role, but then the budget for the role was extremely low, much lower than the market.
The initial interview was lengthy and got into a high level of details into my experience.
Two months later, I checked on the role that was still available, and the recruiter told me they had increased their budget and would be happy to see me.
I went for a physical I review with the recruiter in the office this time, and we reviewed my profile in detail again, for 1h30.
I was told I would be contacted soon for the next steps, and a few days later I received an email stating they had decided to go with other candidates, without much explanation...
Why bother seeing me again with the same questions, to come to this conclusion?
This particular position now has nearly 1500 applicants today on LinkedIn!!!
1500 people and Gympass wasn't able to find one suitable candidate? Surely something is broken in the recruiting process here...
Gympass seems to be one of these companies that are looking for the perfect candidate that doesn't exist, but they are not even willing to pay decently for it... No wonder they haven't found anyone yet...

Completed the process in 3 weeks and received a decision ~3-4 weeks later. There were 4 interviews in total: Recruiter > 2 Team Members > Hiring Manager. The interviews were brief (30-45 min) and conversational. I was asked to provide 3 references (1 manager, 2 colleagues) before receiving an offer.

Gympass pivoted its marketing strategy from B2C to B2B. I was asked, "are you interested in B2B marketing?"
The process included three interviews, nice people. Usual interview questions. Why I was interested, previous experience and main motivation to work in the company. Spoke to HR, Ops managers and direct managers.

An HR representative contacted me directly via LinkedIn, asking for my contacts for a phone screen, which they scheduled for the following week. A week after the call, I contacted the person, and she said they were still screening candidates, and asked me to wait for their response. More than a month later I am still waiting for their contact. They already posted the position twice on LinkedIn during this time. I find this disrespectful with all candidates, as I believe all of them deserve an answer, either positive or negative. If the HR treat the candidates like this, I may imagine how they treat their employees.
