Vantaggi
friendly environment and diverse culture, unfortunately this is the only thing that's worth mentioning
Svantaggi
EVERYTHING 1. process is extremely poor and out-dated even if they call themselves "iLab" 2. leadership is extremely NOT transparent: lots of leadership changes and also poorly informed to employers. The product is progressing to another direction, unfortunately and ironically this is all discovered by gossiping around the office because no one from management tells you the truth. 3. Bad management: not transparent and extremely vague about hiring/resourcing progress 4. No flexible working from home policy: they just don't like it so don't do it often 5. No raise or bonuses: the company wants to keep low-cost labor so the compensation is extremely low to start. Each year the bonuses and raises are very low, so no growth here unless you "friend the right people" 6. Poor development team due to cost-effective hiring "strategy": hire very entry level offshore developers so it's impossible to maintain product quality 7. If you don't like the process, nothing will change. No one listens, if you don't like the process, don't expect anything to change as nothing will change. 8. Highly political environment: want to get promotion? The only way is either make sure the leadership knows your name or work on a project that makes money, which usually you don't have any control over unfortunately. I've seen really hard-working employees hoping for promotion and nothing ever happens to them. The reasons of not getting promotions are also extremely unclear 9. how you look matters more than how much you care: it may be the same everywhere else, but this place is the worst I've experienced in my career 10. just don't come and work here because it's a huge waste of one's career development
