There are several benefits, for example before the pandemics we had 2 days/week work from home. A very nice building here in Iasi city with a wonderful view and a good location.

Some of the projects I worked on are legacy. Nobody cares about the code too much and about best practices. Deadlines are important only and this could become very pushy for devs. Also, there are a lot of frustrating restrictions due to security reasons which badly affects your productivity. For example, you are not allowed to have admin rights on your computer/laptop as a developer. Also, many websites are restricted.
